About us
In 2017 our adventure started on a abandoned piece of land on the coastline of Trieste, Italy. We knew that a jewel was hidden under all the overgrowth. Ancient terraces with vineyards, old varieties of fruit trees, and a wealth of wild flowers. It has been our privilege to restore these almost lost terraces back to their full glory. And now, a few years later, we are ready to share this beauty with you.
What makes this garden different?
Fixing something is one thing, but it takes more energy to make something flourish. Together with the plants, we look for the optimal growing conditions to grow together. We work according the principles of permaculture gardening and the No Dig method. Nature does the rest!
But don’t get it wrong, it is a garden! We have a hand in everything you see, although nature and natural circumstances dictate the way we go. We are the planners and the planers, sometimes we are archeologists and sometimes we just drag a lot of mud around. Ultimately, together we achieve what we strive for – a natural garden!
