Root and Blossom is a private garden along the coastline of Trieste in Borgo Gasperetti.

The owners of Root and Blossom garden are Pascale and Fabio. Pascale, together with friend and gardener Oscar, worked relentlessly to make it into a haven of natural gardening.

Our garden is a private and intimate place. It requires respect for the work done and the hospitality offered. So please follow a few small rules:

• Do not enter and trample on the flowerbeds
• Do not pluck flowers and seeds
• Do not trample the meadows
• Stay on the mowed or wood chip paths

The garden is situated on dry stone wall terraces, so please wear appropriate shoes or boots when visiting our garden. Pathways are irregular and there are steps and stairways everywhere. Always mind your step and take extra care while walking around. The garden can be muddy and slippery after rain.

The garden can be quite demanding for those with walking difficulties. Because of the terraces we are not wheelchair accessible.

Parking is possible on the parking space along Strada Fruili. The old stairs will bring you into the borgo. Just follow the signs.

Dogs are not allowed into the garden of Root and Blossom.

Smoking, including vaping and the use of e-cigarettes, is not allowed anywhere in our garden.
